About Attentive Adult Day Center

Attentive Adult Day Center, LLC is a licensed adult day care facility located in O'Fallon, Missouri, proudly serving seniors and adults aged 18 and older throughout St. Charles County and the surrounding communities. We opened our doors in August 2018 with a simple but powerful mission: to make every day fulfilling by providing services that improve quality of life in a safe, loving, and supportive environment.

Who We Are

Founded by Dr. Veda Lewis Simmons and Pastor Mark Simmons, Attentive Adult Day Center is an organization built on faith, compassion, and a deep commitment to serving others. With a background in healthcare and ministry, our founders bring decades of experience in caring for individuals with diverse needs. We believe that every person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and genuine warmth.

Our center is fully licensed by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS), and we adhere to the highest standards of care. All of our staff members undergo thorough background screening and receive ongoing training to ensure they are equipped to support participants with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges.

What We Do

We provide supervised daytime care in a community setting, offering a welcoming alternative to nursing home placement. Our participants enjoy a structured day filled with meaningful activities, nutritious meals, social interaction, and personalized attention. From art therapy and music programs to gentle exercise and cognitive games, every activity is designed to promote engagement, independence, and joy.

In addition to recreational programming, we offer health-related services including assistance with daily living activities such as ambulating, toileting, and eating. We also coordinate with licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists who provide on-site services. Transportation is available for participants within a 20-mile radius, making it easy for families to access our care.

Who We Serve

Attentive Adult Day Center welcomes adults 18 and older, including seniors with memory care needs such as Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, individuals with physical or mobility impairments, non-ambulatory guests, and those experiencing social isolation. We also provide essential respite for family caregivers, giving them peace of mind knowing their loved one is in a safe, nurturing environment while they work, run errands, or simply rest.
